If you’re looking for ways to spice up your tofu, this recipe is for you!
Tofu is a the perfect plant protein and offers loads of health benefits. It’s a soy product that includes a complete amino acid profile to give you all the building blocks you need for muscle building and recovery from your workouts. It’s also a great source of plant-based calcium to support bone health that is the framework for all that muscle!
Health benefits aside, not everyone is a fan of tofu. Truth be told, it’s a bit of a weird texture – my daughter says it’s bouncey! But don’t turn your head away just yet. Tofu comes in different textures, from soft to extra hard. The soft would be great for adding to a smoothie (the texture would be similar to yogurt in your smoothie), but for a recipe like this extra firm is the way to go!
